Meet the Coaches
Dominique Adams MS, SSC
Coach Adams is an 8 year army Veteran, In addition, holds a Bachelors degree in Business and Masters degree in Sports and Recreation Administration and is a certified strength and conditioning coach as well as a member of the national strength and conditioning association.
He started his coaching career as a Division 1 assistant strength and conditioning coach at Western Kentucky University from 2012-2015 working under Bobby Petrino and the football program and then moved on to work with all Olympic Sport Athletes at WKU for two years. He’s been involved with Sports and performance training athletes of All levels in Hardin and surrounding counties for over 7 years. Many athletes have went on to become college and professional athletes with a few notables at the university of Kentucky, Tulane, Kent State, Campbellsville, Georgetown College, Lindsey Wilson and others.
His goal is to bring out the best in everyone in all aspects to include the classroom and life all while making training fun, helping establish, achieve, and exceed all physical and mental goals athletes have for themselves.
Derrick Alfonso
Coach Alfonso was a high school sports stand out in football, he graduated from north Hardin High School in 2001. He has been coaching youth sports for roughly seven years in the community, ranging in ages from predominantly from 7-12.
Coach Alfonso has lived his life influenced heavily on fitness and health which then translated into coaching as his current profession finally getting the opportunity to give back to his community. He has a 15 year-old son at North Hardin High School who is also a standout athlete. Coach Alfonso is truly seeking to give back to the community who gave to him growing up through this professional venture. He has a passion for assisting the local youth population grow to be better at athletics and all around better individuals.
He is a certified personal trainer with ISSA and has his strength and conditioning certification, also with ISSA.
